December 2019
DLK Handyman Service was formed in the fall of 2019. These are photos of some of my first projects working as DLK Handyman Service.
A gutter repaired.
Old light fixture replaced with modern LED floodlight/security camera combination. ALSO: a second camera relocated, window shades hung, ceiling light fixture replaced, coat racks hung.
Summer 2019
Old deck removed, and a new deck constructed.
Old dock replaced.
Spring 2019
This was my first job working for myself as a handyman. I hadn't formed DLK yet. That would happen later in the year.
I assembled a playset. The customer had purchased it but couldn't find time to put it together.
Fall 2018
Prior to starting DLK I purchased a small home to renovate and flip. Young kids had lived in it for a few years and made a mess of just about everything. There was a LOT of painting, drywall repairs, new floors installed, electrical modernized and brought up to code, new windows installed, new furnace flue installed, new shingles, etc.

I have lived in my hundred year old home for more than twenty years. With a few exceptions I have done all the updates and maintenance myself including gutting and renovating the dining room and kitchen, installing hardwood flooring in three rooms, updating the electrical, replacing toilets and bath vanity, a new roof, replacing a window in the sunroom, and well, twenty years worth of projects!!
